Process Tea

Hey y’all! Just wanted to share a few thoughts with you about trusting YOUR process. No matter what you’re going through, remember that your road to recovery, success, survival, victory is YOUR DESIGNATED path. You can’t take what you see on social media, the news, and tv and expect your life to turn out the same. You can’t take the experiences of your loved ones or friends and think your situation is going to end up like theirs. You literally must take your life one day at a time. Live through your process.

Trust me it’s easier said than done, I know! I will have days when I’m fantastic, hopeful, super positive about where I am and my future. I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come and excited about where I’m going. Then days like today when I’m stuck in my story, I can’t see past what I’ve been through, what I’ve done and what was done to me. It's so extremely exhausting. So, what do I do when I go through these periods of “blah” and constant tears? I try my hardest to stay busy with something that’s gonna make me feel better. Watching a funny movie, listening to a audiobook, cooking, and my all-time favorite, shopping! LOL. Deciding to write to you guys has helped me a lot today because I know it’ll help someone else. If I must experience these moments to let someone else know it’s ok and you’ll survive, then I’ll go through it.

I’m trusting my process. My healing process, my growth process, my spiritual process, my emotional process…. All the processes y’all! I am not going to compare my life or my story to another. We all handle things differently, we all feel differently, our tolerance levels are different. What takes me all the way out, may roll off the next person's back.

This isn’t exclusive to just relationships. This can also include your professional life, your career. No matter where you are in your “process” take the time to learn the lessons that are meant to be learned, feel all the feelings meant to be felt, express all the emotion that is meant to be let out. Give yourself the time and space to move through your process the way God intended you to. One day you’ll look back and see the strength it took to move through and live your process authentically. The lessons will be priceless, and the reward will be well worth it!

Much love and light

T~
